Two loops of the 5.10 mile trail and then moving onto another trail for the final 2.90 mile loop.
The route has been designed to encorporate as much of the woodland as possible. For the two bigger loops, runners will be relived to know that they will be directed down the "Hill from Heaven" which will be welcome relief to the legs. On the final loop though just a few hundred meters before the finish, the runners will have to tackle the "Hill from Hell" which is a leg buster designed to separate those who have got that extra bit left in the tank and those that haven't. Marshals will be monitoring the runners race numbers to make sure they complete the full course.
