Steve Jobs- Kept people On their feet for longer
World and business leaders have paid tribute to Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, who has died at 56 after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
US President Barack Obama and Russian counterpart Dmitry Medvedev said Mr Jobs had changed the world.
In a statement, Bill Gates said: "The world rarely sees someone who has had the profound impact Steve has had, the effects of which will be felt for many generations to come. For those of us lucky enough to get to work with him, it's been an insanely great honour."
Mr Steve Jobs not only changed the world from a innovative point of view he also put alot of feet into running shoes and kept them running for longer and farther than ever before. I couldn't begin to know how many more people now run thanks to the ipod but just knowing the people around me in my day to day life, I have noticed many people now running who never even thought of running before getting an ipod. I think those, not naturally in tune with their inner runner often need a little support to keep them out on their feet and what better help than with music. A work colleague who I will not mention has been wanting to lose weight for years and years and I now understand that she now regularly runs all the time mainly due to Steve Job's fantastic ipod. She says that she couldn't be bothered to go out one day when she couldn't find it which says it all for me. Mr Jobs you have put more feet in running shoes and made running even more enjoyable through your creations than thought possible. Let us all raise a glass to Mr Steve Jobs - February 24, 1955 – October 5, 2011
